What We Offer
The Humane Society of Delaware County offers a Low-Cost Public Clinic designed to combat pet overpopulation and support pet wellness through affordable care.
We currently offer:
- Spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs
- Vaccines
- Wellness exams
All Services are by appointment only.

How to Schedule
Appointments are scheduled online through our secure booking system.
When scheduling your appointment, you will be able to:
- Choose your preferred appointment date and drop-off time
- Pay for your pet’s surgery
- Request additional services, such as vaccines, microchipping, etc.
- Complete all required paperwork before your appointment

Please Note: Appointments are non-refundable once scheduled. If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Drop-Off Instructions
Drop-off is between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the day of surgery. Please arrive at your scheduled drop-off time.
To ensure your pet’s safety during anesthesia, do not feed your pet after midnight the night before surgery. Water is permitted.
Arrival Requirements
- Dogs must arrive on a non-retractable leash.
- Cats must arrive in a secure carrier.
- If you do not have a cat carrier, you may borrow one from us before your appointment or purchase a cardboard carrier for $10 at drop-off. Please contact us in advance if you need to borrow a carrier.
Pick-Up Instructions
Pets are typically ready for pick-up before 4:30 PM on the day of surgery. Our staff will call you once your pet has recovered from surgery and is ready to go home. Please keep your phone available throughout the day so we can reach you.
If you will be late or need to make emergency overnight boarding arrangements, please call 740-369-7387 by 4:00 PM. An overnight boarding fee of $24 will apply for pets remaining in our care after 5:00 PM.
