What We Offer
The Humane Society of Delaware County offers a Public Clinic designed to combat pet overpopulation and support pet wellness through affordable care.
We are currently offering spay and neuter surgeries for both cats and dogs, as well as vaccines and wellness checks — all by appointment only.

How to Schedule
To begin the scheduling process, please complete the Public Clinic Form below, and a member of our staff will contact you to schedule your appointment. You may also call us directly to schedule. Payment is required at the time of scheduling to reserve your pet’s slot.

Note: Appointments are non-refundable once scheduled. If you are unable to make your appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule.
Drop-Off Instructions
Drop-off time is between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM on the day of surgery.
To ensure your pet’s safety during anesthesia, do not feed your pet after midnight the night before surgery. Water is permitted.
Arrival Requirements:
- Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash.
- Cats must arrive in a secure carrier.
If you do not have a cat carrier you may borrow one from us in advance of your appointment or you may purchase a cardboard carrier for $10 at drop-off.
Please contact us ahead of time if you need to borrow a carrier.
Pick-Up Instructions
Pick-up time is between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM on the day of surgery.
Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth pick-up.
If you are running late or need to make emergency overnight boarding arrangements, call us at 740-369-7387 by 4:00 PM. A $24 overnight boarding fee will apply if your pet remains in our care after 5:00 PM.
