Sponsorship Opportunities
Adopt-A-Kennel
Show your support by sponsoring a dog kennel today! Sponsors receive a personalized dog bone plaque featuring their name—or a pet’s name—proudly displayed on the kennel door. These plaques are seen by staff, volunteers, and highlighted during shelter tours.
Sponsorships start at $600 for a 6-month term, with additional months available for $100 each. Sponsorships can be extended or renewed at any time. Click here to get started!

Who doesn’t like to brag about how awesome our fur babies are? Here’s your chance to make your pet a local celebrity!
Our “That’s My Baby” sponsorship gives you the chance to feature your pet on one of the eight windows of the HSDC transport van, which travels throughout Ohio. It’s a fun and meaningful way to show off your furry friend while supporting animals in need.
For a donation of $1,000 for six months or $1,900 for twelve months, your pet’s image will be proudly displayed on our van for all to see. Once your donation is received, an HSDC staff member will reach out to help coordinate the photo and details.
Select the “That’s My Baby” option from the donate button to begin the process.
*Please note the HSDC controls content and placement of images on the van.
Legacy Donations
Remember the HSDC in your will
If you’re interested in leaving a lasting impact on animals in need, consider adding the Humane Society of Delaware County to your will. When you include HSDC in your estate plans, you become part of our Legacy Donors Club, a special group of supporters who make the future of HSDC more secure.
There are several ways to make a bequest to HSDC:
- A fixed amount of money or specific property such as stocks, bonds, or real estate.
- A percentage of your estate.
- A contingent bequest, naming the HSDC as the recipient should another beneficiary not survive you.
- A residual bequest, leaving a portion or the entire remainder of your estate to the HSDC after all else has been settled.
- A life income bequest, providing income to someone of your choice for their lifetime after your death, with the principal donated to the HSDC at the death of your beneficiaries.
No matter which type of bequest you choose, we suggest this language to avoid confusion:
“I hereby give and bequeath to the Humane Society of Delaware County, a nonprofit Ohio corporation located at 4920 St Rt 37 East, Delaware Ohio, 43015 Tax I.D. #31-0956829, the sum of $ to be used for its general purposes.”
For a gift other than cash, simply describe the assets.
We love connecting with our legacy donors to learn about their wishes and ensure their gift is honored just as they intend. If you’re planning to include HSDC in your will, please give us a call—we’d be honored to speak with you. Contact the HSDC.
