Join us on facebook      Volunteer Page    HSDC Info Page Welcome! This is the official site of the Humane Society of Delaware County (HSDC). We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping abused, neglected, and homeless pets find their forever homes. We serve and protect animals by conducting cruelty investigations, providing humane education, operating a low-cost Vaccination and Wellness Clinic, and reducing pet overpopulation through our low-cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. As with all local humane societies, we operate independently of national organizations and do not receive any governmental funding. We rely entirely on donations from kind people (such as yourself) and the generous donations from our Corporate Sponsors.   HSDC is closed on Mondays and open for adoptions and to the public Tuesdays through Sundays. Our summer/spring hours (May 1 through August 31) are from 11 am to 6 pm. During the fall/winter (September 1  through April 30), we are open from 1 pm - 6 pm. Our Low-Cost Vaccination Clinic is offered every Tuesday from 8:30 am to  1:30 pm, but please check our vaccination clinic schedule for updates. Our Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic is scheduled by appointment only. We hope you’ll stop by and visit our society’s shelter located at 4920 State Route 37 East in Delaware, Ohio. Board Meeting Notice The Humane Society of Delaware County invites the public to attend our monthly board meetings conducted on the third Wednesday of every month unless otherwise stated on our Board of Directors webpage. The meetings begin promptly at 6:30 pm and are held at our animal shelter located at: 4920 St. Rt. 37 East Delaware, OH 43015 (740) 369-7387 Donations Your donation goes a long here.
